Committed to continuing our mission of educating, raising awareness, and supporting all who have been or will be touched by cancer.
Providing a network for those who have been diagnosed with cancer, who have lost a friend, relative, or loved one from cancer, and to educate individuals regarding opportunities for early detection; therefore increasing the opportunity for all individuals to live a full, positive, and productive life.
GIVE TODAY TO raise awareness!
On August 21, 2004, the most positive, strong-willed, spirited, and full-of-life individual lost her five-year battle with breast cancer. Mia Michelle Ware will always be remembered for her smile, courage, and sense of well-being she brought to so many people far and near. She was always the life of the party. Her strong-willed desire to beat this disease was truly remarkable. Her ability to bring joy and happiness to so many people that suffer from this dreaded disease will always be a reminder that medicine, and the treatments associated with this disease, cannot compare to the success of beating the disease with a positive attitude and the word she cherished the most - "Hope."
We all miss her contagious smile, warm and accepting heart, and willingness to give. It was never about her - she always wanted to bring happiness to those surrounding her. The Mia Ware Foundation for Cancer Research and Education will aim high to meet the needs of those facing challenges consistently.
